Boothbay Railway Village 51st Annual Fall Foliage Festival
October 6, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm$4.00
Every Columbus Day Weekend the Museum’s Village Green welcomes dozens of vendors of handmade items, including Forever Clean Soap and fabulous food along with a wide variety of live entertainment. The sound of the train’s steam whistle resonating throughout the crisp fall air reminds guests that this is not your typical craft show.
The beautiful crafts are center stage on the Village Green surrounded by the historic buildings and structures of the Boothbay Railway Village. Rides on the narrow gauge steam train and the opportunity for guests to explore exhibits detailing Maine’s railroad heritage, interpreting village life, and displaying more than 60 antique automobiles set this event apart.
Artisan demonstrations, live music and a children’s corner (Saturday only) sponsored by the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library and the Boothbay Sea & Science Center adds to the fun of this family tradition.
Open from 9 AM – 5 PM on Saturday, 10 AM – 4 PM on Sunday and Monday.
Admission is $4. Children 12 and under and Museum Members are free. Steam train tickets are an additional $5 each (free for Museum Members.) Parking is free both in the Museum’s main parking lots and the special event parking lot across Route 27 next to T & D Variety.
The Fall Foliage Festival is presented in partnership with the Boothbay Information Center. Visit their website for visitor information about the Boothbay Region including places to stay, things to do and where to eat.
